Payment options: Debit card payment remains the most popular method, while the “Instalments for all” program is gaining momentum

The debit card remains a firm favorite among our users, accounting for nearly 3 million orders during the first five months of the year, with an average basket value of €58. This trusted payment method has undoubtedly contributed to the ease and convenience of transactions.

Moreover, we’re thrilled to witness the increasing popularity of our “Instalments for All” program, which allows customers to embrace the “Buy Now, Pay Later” approach. The data collected from the beginning of the year until last month revealed an average shopping basket value of €450 for purchases under this program, showcasing how it has become an invaluable option for budget-conscious shoppers.

Credit card instalment purchases remain a prominent choice among our customers, with an average basket value of €190 for orders placed. This reliable method continues to be favoured by many for its flexibility and convenience.

Additionally, we understand the significance of cash on delivery for certain customers, and we’re glad to accommodate their preferences. Over 400 thousand users opted for this method during the specified period, with an average basket value of €52.

New entries

To further elevate our payment options, we recently introduced bank deposit via IRIS, and payment through Google Pay and Apple Pay. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with IRIS transactions surpassing an impressive average shopping basket value of €1,000. Customers are embracing the ease and efficiency of Google Pay and Apple Pay, with average basket values of €45 and €56, respectively, for quick and hassle-free purchases.

Furthermore, we take pride in supporting businesses and freelancers subject to the normal VAT regime by providing the option to issue invoices without paying VAT. A remarkable 16.4 thousand purchases, including mobile phones, game consoles, laptops, and tablets, were made with VAT exemption, showcasing the immense value of this offering.
